Brief Introdution on Fuzzy Control System of Ball Mill

Ball tube mill is one of the most important auxiliary equipment in domestic power plants nowadays. It's safe and economic operation is the key of the first magnitude. However, most mills are still in the state of manual control. The reason is that mill governing system has multi-inputs and multi-outputs, strong coupling, tardiness, inertia and complicated dynamic character. It has some difficulty for the control of this system. Using three traditional PID controllers isolated, the satisfactory purpose is impossible and it can't run in the best situation.

This paper combined control system of ball mill and the reality of overage grind, discussed the application of EFC in the automatic control of ball mill. Based on the ball mill overage grind and study actuality, this paper stress analyzed the dynamic characteristic of ball mill. And this paper put forward square delivery correspond EFC system. This paper presented collectivity scheme, software, hardware and realization scheme. EFC effectively resolved the entrance press of ball tube mill and temperature strong coupling of its export. This system can better control function of ball mill. This system has the superior characteristic of stabilization, credibility, save, tight structure simple operation.

Ball mill introduction

The ball mill is a key equipment for grinding materials, widely used in powder-making production line such as cement, silicate sand, new-type building material, refractory material, fertilizer, ore dressing of ferrous metal and non-ferrous metal, glass ceramics, etc. Ball mill can grind various ores and materials with dry type or wet type. There are two kinds of ball mills, grate type and overfull type due to different ways of discharging material.
